Take a day trip over to the Big Hole River Valley, about a one hour scenic drive. See
the Big Hole National Battlefield. Continue onto Bannock, a well preserved mining ghost town and the first capital of Montana.
On the way back enjoy a great dinner and maybe a soak at Jackson Hot Springs.
And let's not forget the famous Montana trout fishing this area is known for! Western Montana
is famous for its dry flyfishing and many insect hatches. There is a great deal of public access for both the wade fisherman
and float fishing, and we can arrange and/or recommend the area's best professional, licensed guides upon request.
